RTC Seeks Public Input on Sparks Road Rehabilitation Project

An informational meeting to collect community input about traffic control operations for upcoming road projects in Sparks is scheduled from 4:30 to 6 p.m. May 8 at the Sparks Library, 1125 12th St.The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County is in the process of finalizing a design phase to rehabilitate the following sections of roadways in Sparks:

  • 15th Street from C Street to Prater Way
  • Franklin Way from the Union Pacific railroad crossing to East Greg Street
  • Hulda Court
  • El Rancho Drive from G Street to Oddie Boulevard

Known as Sparks Consolidated 19-01, the project is expected to start this summer and take about 3 months to complete.
