WHO: United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra is a non-profit organization, that serves all 13 counties in Northern Nevada, and whose mission is to link the community’s will and resources to improve lives.

WHY: United Way seeks input from the community to identify what are critical community issues that could be addressed. Information gathered helps to guide the work of the organization. Information gathered during the 2014 Community Listening Process led to identifying early childhood literacy as an issue to address. In addition, this is an opportunity to meet the new CEO/President and the new Community Impact Director.
