The cannabis industry is taking over Reno April 6th and 7th for the second annual Reno Cannabis Convention. The Reno Cannabis Convention is a two-day trade show focused on cannabis education and fostering connections in the local cannabis industry. This year’s event will take place at the Whitney Peak Hotel in downtown Reno.

There is a speaker series covering topics including getting a job in the cannabis industry, battling opioids, women in weed, and medical cannabis for patients.

There are 70-80 vendors scheduled to attend, including the Traveling Hemp Museum based out of Oakland, Calif. Conference attendees will also have direct access to local cannabis producers who can answer specific cannabis-related questions.

This convention also serves as a way for prospective cannabis industry employees to network with leaders in the cannabis industry. Several local dispensaries and growers will be accepting applications on-site.

Discounted tickets are available for pre-sale until April 1 or you can buy tickets the day of at the Whitney Peak Cargo box office.
