Questions answered by Connor Kremsner and Clayton Posey

1. How did you get started and who are your fans?

We started this band a little over a year ago, after being in other bands with Connor Kremsner (our drummer and founder), Clayton Posey (our guitarist), and Danielle Mudd (one of our vocalists). We’ve had some changes in the lineup of our band, but now we feel really comfortable and confident with the people we have now, including our newer members, Austin Brown (our bassist), and Olivia Rogers (our rhythm guitarist/pianist, and vocalist).

We would say our fans are anybody who loves to listen to alternative rock and good music, but we do tend to draw a younger crowd, usually made up of high school or college students.

2. How would you describe your sound and style?

Our sound has been influenced by many bands and genres such as the driving guitar riffs of The Edge from U2, to the current wave of alt rock bands such as Nothing But Thieves, Finish Ticket, and Foals. Every song has a different inspiration of its own but mainly sticks to our Alternative Rock roots.

3. Who are you most inspired by?

We all have many different artists and musicians that inspire us. To name a few, Paramore, Foals, U2, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

4. Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years we see ourselves touring, running the festival circuit, making more music we love, and pursuing our dreams further.

5. How can people get a hold of you?

You can follow us on Instagram and Twitter at @aurora1621band, and on Facebook at Aurora Official Band. If you would like to book us for a show, you can either direct message us at our Instagram page, or email us at [email protected]
