The northern Nevada chapter of the organization has been awarded the 2017-2018 Peak Performance Team Award for outstanding performance during the past fiscal year.
Junior Achievement USA recognized its northern Nevada area staff and board of directors for demonstrating a strong financial position and positive student growth.
The organization, comprised of corporate and community volunteers, achieved the highest combined level of student growth, increased market share, and total revenue growth. With an overall student growth rate of 18 percent, the Northern Nevada chapter reached 12,000 students.
“We are proud to receive this recognition for working for a cause we feel passionate about, giving students knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship,” said Len Stevens, President of Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada.
