Watercolor Exhibition Opens at May Museum

The Sierra Watercolor Society returns to the Wilbur D. May Museum for their annual winter exhibition of new watercolor paintings. Local and regional artists will display dozens of original paintings in the “Arte de Triomphe” exhibit, which includes landscapes, portraits, abstract, and more. All paintings in the exhibition will be available for purchase. Visitors are also invited to vote for their favorite painting to win the coveted “People’s Choice Award.”

The Sierra Watercolor Society is a non-profit organization made up of artists from Northern Nevada and Eastern California. The group sponsors the Art Angels Program, which brings instructors and art supplies into elementary school classes free of charge. For more information visit www.sierrawatercolorsociety.com.
