Dolan Auto Group will be awarding a share of $60,000 to 11 different classrooms this fall for the Dolan Class Project. Ten classrooms will receive $5,000 each, and one classroom will receive $10,000. All students, teachers or administrators had to do is submit a short video (no longer than three minutes) explaining how they would use the funds to improve their classroom or school.

“Our goal was to really make the submission process as simple as possible,” said Ryan Dolan, CEO of Dolan Auto Group. “Giving back to the community where we live and do business is at the core of everything we do. Supporting children’s education is a particular point of emphasis for our company and so we are especially proud to give back to classrooms in Washoe County with the Dolan Class Project.”

The voting period runs from Monday, Oct. 22 through 11:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018. Teachers who submit a classroom project, and are approved, have the opportunity to vote to determine which 10 classrooms will receive $5,000 each. The community is encouraged to vote for their favorite project and determine the $10,000 grand prize-winning classroom.

Winners will be announced Tuesday, Oct. 30 during a live video on Dolan Auto Group’s Facebook and will be posted to the company’s website. For more information on Dolan’s Class Project, visit DolanAutoGroup.com.
