Standard Management Company (SMC) and Nevada Military Support Alliance are partnering to give back to veterans and their families through October 11.

September 11 is a day that will always be remembered, from the first responders who lost their lives on the scene to the military men and women who continue to this day to fight for our freedom. In honor of that, SMC will be collecting donations from all ten properties both in Reno and Las Vegas throughout the month of September launching on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018. These goods consist of: clothing, household and food items that will go to Veteran’s Guest House and cash donations to go back to NMSA. All SMC properties will be drop off locations and open to the public for drop offs.

WHEN: September 11th – October 11th

WHERE: Eastland Hills: 1855 Baring Boulevard, Sparks + Sunset Pointe: 2255 E Sunset Rd, Las Vegas.

WHY: To invite the community to get involved in the place they live while giving back to the Nevada Military Support Alliance. Goods will be donated in order to provide support and assistance to military men and women, veterans and their families.

“September 11 is a day that changed our country forever. And for many of the men and women who were sent abroad to defend our country, something that changed their lives forever. We want to honor those who choose to risk their lives for our freedom,” said Tony Kuper, Director of Residential Operations. “We are hoping for a significant amount of donations we can give back to vets and their families.”
