PHOTOS: Sweet Treats, Culture at Annual Greek Festival

Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Church invited the community to “be Greek for the weekend” at its annual Reno Greek Festival. For nearly 40 years the church has produced the event, which includes live music, dancing, and imported Mediterranean foods for a family-friendly event. The 2018 festival was Aug. 17 – 19. Ty O'Neil

Ty O’Neil is a lifelong student of anthropology with two degrees in the arts. He is far more at home in the tear gas filled streets of war torn countries than he is relaxing at home. He has found a place at This Is Reno as a photojournalist. He hopes to someday be a conflict photojournalist covering wars and natural disasters abroad.
