The Washoe County Assessor’s Office is responsible for valuation of all real and personal property subject to taxation within the county. This valuation in turn generates almost half of the general fund for Washoe County. This revenue funds public safety, education and other services for our community.

I have served the residents of Washoe County through my employment at the Assessor’s Office since April of 2007. Over my eleven years in the office, I have promoted through different positions from an Office Assistant up to my current position as an Appraiser III. Some of the best training and most gratifying work has been during my time working at the public service counter directly with the people that we serve.

My well-rounded experience throughout the different divisions within the office has given me the perspective and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of the position and the desire to represent the best interests of the residents of Washoe County. My goals are to continue serving our community in all aspects of assessment, while treating everyone equitably and with fairness.

As a resident and taxpayer of Washoe County and as an employee of the office, I believe your Assessor should be dedicated, accountable knowledgeable and present for both the taxpayers and the staff. I would be honored to earn your vote and serve as your first female and first Latina Washoe County Assessor.
