Summer is about to be in full swing, and Standard Management Company (SMC) is looking for ways to manage pool safety at their properties in the Reno/Sparks and Las Vegas areas. In order to improve their residents’ overall poolside safety, they will be hosting swim safety lessons on Friday, June 29 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Reno/Sparks and in Las Vegas.

“The safety of our residents is of utmost importance,” said Tony Kuper, Director of Residental Operations at SMC. “We want to promote security to our residents, especially the children, to be sure that their summer consists of safe fun by the pool.”

Statistics from the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that about one in five people who die from drowning in pools are children 14 years old or younger. For every child who dies from drowning, another five receive emergency care for nonfatal submersion injuries. SMC is moved to help create awareness and proud to support the cause of swim safety.

Standard Management Company wants their pools to be a safe environment for their residents to enjoy, which is why they will be offering these swim safety lessons, free for their residents with the help of CPR Certified swim instructors. These will be open to people of all ages who would like to learn.

“While our residential experience is meant to be fun, comfortable, and enjoyable, we feel as though health and safety need to come first in order for any of that to occur. These swim safety lessons will play a key role in our annual safety events calendar,” said Kuper. “Standard Management Company will later release the dates of these events with more details.”

Standard Management Company’s mission is to deliver superior returns for real estate investors. They do this through active management of their existing portfolio; acquisition of existing income property or origination of short term loans secured by real estate in California and neighboring states.
