Marc Burks graduated from Damonte Ranch High School a little more than a week ago and perfect attendance during his senior year paid off—literally.

Burks was awarded a new 2017 Honda Fit from Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda on Saturday when his name was drawn. The dealership is in its ninth year awarding a new car to one graduating senior from Washoe County schools who logged perfect attendance. Almost 200 students were eligible to win.

Also known as the Honda Jazz, the Honda Fit is a 5-door hatchback subcompact car.

“We are proud to support our high school students who committed to achieving perfect attendance during their senior year,” Sandy Raffealli, owner of Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda, said in a statement. “We think it’s a great way to help a student celebrate graduation and begin life as an adult. This is our favorite event of the whole year.”

Burks plans to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
