High School Graduations Begin At Lawlor Events Center

High school graduations at Lawlor Events Center at the University of Nevada, Reno are scheduled to get underway today and continue until early next week.

Those planning to attend ceremonies are asked to travel northbound on North Virginia Street when arriving because the right lane will be dedicated to graduation traffic, according to the Washoe County School District. Southbound traffic on North Virginia Street will be limited to one lane, and 15th Street will be closed to traffic.

Free parking is available in the West Stadium Parking Complex, which is north of Lawlor Events Center and west of Mackay Stadium. The Brian J. Whalen Parking Complex, south of Lawlor, will also be open.

All exiting traffic will be directed onto North Virginia Street northbound toward North McCarran Boulevard.

6:30 p.m. RISE Academy for Adult Achievement

June 9
1 p.m. Innovations/Inspire/Turning Point
6 p.m. North Valleys High School

June 10
9:30 a.m. Wooster High School
2 p.m. Sparks High School
6:30 p.m. McQueen High School

June 12
9:30 a.m. Damonte Ranch High School
2 p.m. Hug High School
7 p.m. Reed High School

June 13
9 a.m. Reno High School
1 p.m. Galena High School
6 p.m. Spanish Springs High School
