Reno’s healthy meal hub, Be Fit Foods, more commonly known as BFF Café, is shifting gears to make its healthful food creations more accessible to the health-conscious and on-the-go customer. Beginning Saturday, July 1, and in partnership with Reno’s celebrity chef, Mark Estee, Be Fit Foods moves its operations from west Reno to a more central location inside Liberty Food and Wine Exchange in the heart of downtown Reno.
Be Fit Foods moves away from an in-house dining experience to a more practical grab-and-go option for busy people who still wish to eat healthfully. Efforts will concentrate on the beloved Fuelpacks, their most popular item since the restaurant’s inception. Fuelpack options consist of healthy ingredients such as salmon, whole grains, and vegetables designed for both optimal health and convenience. Be Fit Foods will provide grab-and-go healthy meal options from the centrally-located Liberty Food and Wine Exchange, while still offering the convenience of online ordering at bffcafe.com.
“Making the healthy Fuelpacks that our clientele has come to know and love more readily accessible, in the heart of downtown Reno, will make it easier for busy folks to make healthy choices, as well as open up the option of convenient healthy meals to a broader clientele,” said Jen Boscovich, Be Fit Foods owner.
Mark Estee, founder of Liberty Food and Wine Exchange, is thrilled at the opportunity to provide healthy and sustainable options to the population living, working, and visiting downtown, adding, “What Jen and her team have created is unlike any of the other food options in this space. She has the credentials and know-how to create food that has a therapeutic and lasting effect on people’s bodies. Plus, it tastes good and comes from local, organic, and all natural sources. We are lucky to merge with Be Fit Foods!”
Boscovich added, “Since the beginning, it’s been our vision to create healthy communities through clean eating, that is simple, fast, healthy, and delicious. Now we can bring this promise to even more people in partnership with one of Reno’s most incredible chefs.”
