WinterFest: Train Rides, Santa Claus, Tree Sales And More

WinterFestGreater Nevada Field is hosting WinterFest now through New Years Day with daily and nightly activities that include visits with Santa Claus, Christmas tree sales, and train rides around the concourse.

Hours for train rides and Santa visits are as follows:
° 5 to 10 p.m. Dec. 23
° Noon to 3 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m. Dec. 24
° 3 to 7 p.m. Dec. 25
° 3 to 8 p.m. Dec. 26-28
° 5 to 10 p.m. Dec. 29-30
° Noon to 3 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m. Dec. 31
° 3 to 7 p.m. Jan. 1

Train rides before 3 p.m. are $5 per person and $8 per person after 3 p.m. Children ages two and younger ride free.

The tree lot is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Ice skating sessions are 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., 12:30 to 2:45 p.m., 3 to 5:15 p.m., 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. and 8 to 10 p.m. daily through Jan. 8. Regularly-scheduled hours resume Jan. 9. Cost is $8 for those ages 13 to 54 and $6 for children 3 to 12 and seniors 55 and older. Skate rentals are $4 per person.

Greater Nevada Field is located at 250 Evans Ave.
