The Midtown Business District is encouraging the Reno community to shop local on Black Friday. Midtown businesses will be offering specials discounts at many Midtown favorites for pass holders.
The special limited-edition pass can be purchased for $20 at any participating business, now through Black Friday. Proceeds from the sale of the passes are used to help children in the area.

“The real reason we host this event is for the kids in our neighborhood who need to be warm for the cold days,” said Angela Watson of Black Hole Body Piercing. “Donations will be used to provide needed winter items for children in need right here in Midtown. We work with the Mount Rose School to provide to our areas CIT-Children in Transition; children living in motels or multiple with family members, in shelters or even homeless. Last years event provided over 50 pairs of footwear and more than $900!”
Take a moment to visit the Reno Rodeo Foundation’s Denim Drive tent while you are out shopping! Located in the Statewide Lighting Parking Lot. Enjoy kids “steer” roping & free coloring books for the kids. They will also have Reno Rodeo Denim Donation Bins for new clothing drop offs.
