Bishop Calvo presented to Tom Dolan the Bishop’s Humanitarian Award, recognizing him for his support of CCNN and other non-profits in the community.
“He is … one of the most generous individuals in the Truckee Meadows,” said CCNN’s Matt Vaughn. “He has donated to countless organizations, including CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada, Reno and Sparks Police Departments, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Ronald McDonald House, and several schools in the Washoe County School District.
“The St. Vincent’s Dining Room here at Catholic Charities is one of Tom’s favorite programs to contribute to. This year alone, Dolan Auto Group has donated more than $20,000 to the dining room and several members of the Dolan family have volunteered their time to serve our clients.”
