Discovery Museum Offering Kids Camps This Summer

The_Discovery-Nano_DaysThe Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum (The Discovery) is offering eight weeks of Camp Discovery this summer. Registration is now open and camps are available beginning the week of June 13.

Each camp is geared towards the specific age group who will be participating (available for kids in kindergarten through 7th grade), and all of the camps seek to inspire lifelong learning in science, technology, engineering, art, math, and the world around us.

There are a variety of camps available, including: Dandy Dinos – Kindergarten, Sound Science – Kindergarten, Science of Yuck – Grades 1-2, Superhero Training – Grades 3-4, Tinkering Studio – Grades 5-7, Silly Science – Kindergarten, Wonderful Water – Kindergarten, See & Be Seen – Grades 1-2, Just Press Play – Grades 3-4, Hollywood Scientists – Grades 5-7, and many more!

Camp pricing varies based on age and time of the camp. Members of the museum receive a discount on registration. Financial assistance is available to families who qualify. For details and to register, visit http://www.nvdm.org.
