Washoe County Library Hours Revised

The Library Board of Trustees has approved new hours for seven Washoe County branches. These new hours went into effect on Monday, January 4th, 2016.

“Increasing open hours are an ongoing goal,” said Library Director Jeff Scott. “The action taken by the Library Board is another step to providing the best possible library service to this community with the resources that are available.”

The new hours are as follows:

Downtown Reno:

  • Mondays – Thursdays, 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Sundays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Northwest Reno:

  • Mondays and Tuesdays, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Wednesdays, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Senior Center:

  • Mondays – Fridays, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Sierra View:

  • Mondays – Fridays, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

South Valleys:

  • Mondays and Tuesdays, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Wednesdays, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Sparks:

  • Mondays – Wednesdays, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Fridays, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Verdi:

  • Wednesdays, 2:30 – 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Duncan Traner, Gerlach, Incline Village, North Valleys and Spanish Springs library hours will remain the same.
