The Stick Sport Lounge to Open Downtown

Date:

In February 2016, The Stick Sport Lounge, the first non-smoking, non-gaming sports lounge, will be opening its doors. The Stick will taking over a prime location on Sierra Street, previously occupied by Chocolate Bar.

A family friendly sports lounge, The Stick claims it is the first of its kind in the downtown area. It will have a menu with better-than-bar-fare options for foodies, families and sports fans alike.

Twenty-four high-definition TV screens will give sports fans the ability to watch games on a variety of channels at the same time.

“Reno is home to fans for every team, we are building a place for you, and your team,” said Owner Steve Towell. “We want to bring downtown Reno a destination that will not only draw more visitors to the area, but also give the locals a destination they deserve.”

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free menu options will be available. Two new bars will have a wide selection of craft beers, wines and spirits.
