Future growth plans include two hires per month over next two years

RENO, Nev. (January 1, 2016) — ITS National, the freight brokerage division of ITS Logistics, has hired six employees to kick off 2016. The company plans to hire two employees every month over the next two years, and the most recent hires highlight the company’s rapid and stable growth in the region. Information about the six new employees is below.

Paul Brashier — Director of Training and Recruitment
Paul will be responsible for recruiting and training new team members, and ongoing training and skill development of current staff. He will also be responsible for building relationships with local educational partners and trade organizations as well as coordinating community outreach. Paul brings more than eight years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry. He is originally from North Carolina and first relocated to Reno in 1997. Paul attended Southern Illinois University and Montana State University.

Walter Thomas — Director of Capacity and Carrier Development
Walter will be responsible for building a corporate strategy around capacity development, improvement, compliance and day-to-day operational execution of procurement objectives. He brings nearly 12 years of experience in transportation and logistics and previously worked for C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Echo Global Logistics, and Knight Transportation in various business development and senior level operational management roles. A 2003 alumnus of the University of Nevada, Reno, Walter recently moved back to Reno by way of Phoenix with his wife, Jaime, and two sons, Cameron and Cole.

Bobby Hunter — Carrier Specialist
Bobby will be responsible for carrier procurement and management. He is a Reno native and attended Bishop Manogue Catholic High School. He graduated from Illinois State University in May 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in communications. Bobby was also a two-year scholarship athlete in the basketball program at Illinois State University and recently completed a season of professional basketball with TCMG of ShiShi, China.

Joshua Greenbaum — Carrier Specialist
Joshua will be responsible for carrier procurement and management. Joshua brings nearly five years of logistics experience at the retail level. Born and raised in Las Vegas, he is a proud 2009 alumnus of the University of Nevada and actively engages in alumni outreach and coordination.

Kevin Finn — Carrier Specialist
Kevin will be responsible for carrier procurement and management. Kevin was born and raised in Sacramento, Calif. and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Business with a degree in marketing in 2015.

Michael LeLand — Account Executive
Michael will be responsible for developing new customer acquisitions and maintaining high level relationships with current clients. He has more than 10 years of international freight forwarding and logistics experience working with companies such as UPS and DHL Global Forwarding. Michael is originally from New Jersey and moved to Reno in 2000. He’s a graduate of Teikyo Post University in Waterbury, Conn., and has two boys, Michael and John.
