Nevada light artist Scott Morgan will unveil his new sculpture, “The Light Chimes,” at Wingfield Park Amphitheater downtown on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 2 p.m.

“Arts and culture are important aspects of our community,” said Reno Councilmember Naomi Duerr. “We’re excited to be showcasing local talent, and we encourage the whole community to come out and enjoy this spectacular piece of public art.”

The installation is sponsored by the Arts & Culture Commission. The sculpture will remain on display through March 2016.

“The Light Chimes” will illuminate Wingfield Park from 4 to 10 p.m. The sculpture is animated color palettes derived from Reno street murals, the artist’s work and the Milky Way.

“The Light Chimes” is free and open to the public. Information: thelightchimes.com.
