Sierra Arts Foundation Calls for Music Education Support

Sierra Arts Foundation LogoThe Sierra Arts Foundation is seeking music teachers and community financial support for its Music 1.2.1. Program.

There are 180 Washoe County School District students in the Music 1.2.1 Program, which offers private, 30-minute weekly lessons. As the program grows, more qualified piano, guitar, violin and vocal teachers are needed to provide lessons to children between kindergarten and sixth grade, before, during and after school.
