Public Comment Wanted on Future Public Transportation

rtc-pink-bus-2-of-9-300x225-8410792-3035162Community-wide input is needed as the RTC updates its Fiscal Year 2017-2021 Short Range Transportation Plan.

“Comments from the public help us learn about what services and routes are most valued and needed, and find efficiencies which are key in providing future public transit services,” RTC Executive Director Lee Gibson said.

There will be a focus group meeting for seniors on Tuesday, December 8th, at 10 a.m. in the Washoe County Senior Center and a Stakeholder Forum at 1:30 p.m. at the RTC.

On Wednesday, December 9th, there will be a Rider Focus Group at 11 a.m. in the RTC Centennial Plaza, then a Student Focus Group at 2:30 p.m. Then, there will be another Rider Focus Group at 5:30 p.m. at the RTC.

Lastly, on Thursday, December 10th, there will be another Stakeholder Forum at 10 a.m at the RTC and then another at 1:30 p.m.
