2016 Reno-Tahoe Senior Winter Games Open Registration

reno tahoe senior winter gamesAthletes that are 50 or older are invited to sign up now for the Reno-Tahoe Senior Winter Games.

On Saturday, January 30th, there will be a free Opening Ceremony at the Sands Regency. Then, on Sunday February 14th, there will be a Valentine’s Day dinner and Dance Event to celebrate the race’s end.

Registration forms are available at Reno recreation centers and online at Reno.gov/SeniorGames. Completed forms may be mailed in, emailed, or dropped off in person at Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center, Neil Road Recreation Center, or Teglia’s Paradise Park Activity Center.

Registration before January 4th costs $25 and then will move up to $35 between January 5th and 19th.  Additional sporting fees may be included for particular events.

Senior Winter Games includes more than a dozen sports and activities, such as:

  • Archery
  • *Basketball Skills
  • Beanbag Baseball
  • Beanbag Toss (Corn Hole)
  • Bowling
  • Card Games (Cribbage, *Minnesota, Poker)
  • Chance Games (*Slot Tournament, *Yahtzee)
  • Cross Country Skiing / Snowshoeing
  • Downhill Racing – Skiing and Snowboarding
  • Hockey Shots / Ice Skate Racing
  • *Indoor Golf Tournament
  • Pickleball
  • Poker
  • *Pool (9 Ball)
  • *Shuffleboard
  • Table Tennis
