RTC: Ideas and Public Input Wanted at Complete Streets Workshops

As a means of implementing improved safety and mobility measures for all types of transportation, the Regional Transportation Commission is expanding the Complete Streets program. There will be two community workshops to decide where the Complete Streets Master Plan will be moving next.

Keystone Avenue, Victorian, Nichol Boulevard, Arlington Avenue, Sutro Street and Plumas Street have already had Complete Streets plans implemented. These plans have added bike lanes, bus lanes, pedestrian flashing beacons and street trees.

Two workshops will be held:

Community Workshop in Sparks
RTC CENTENNIAL PLAZA
Parking is across the street
Sept. 29/ 5-7 p.m.
RTC Routes 2, 4, 11, 2, 25, 26 and 54 serve this location

Community Workshop in Reno
The Discovery Museum
4990 S. Center Street
Oct. 13/ 5-7 p.m.
RTC RAPID serves this location

RTC asks for virtual community input on Arlington Bridges Project (sponsored)
