Applications are now being accepted at the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, for the positions of Deputy Sheriff Recruit and lateral POST-certified Deputy Sheriff. Those interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement are encouraged to apply.
In order to apply, applicants must be at least 21-years-old and United States citizens with a high school diploma or an equivalent.
Successful Deputy Sheriff recruit applicants will be enrolled at a regional law enforcement academy beginning in January, 2016 and will receive pay during this period.
