Nevada Wolf Pack to Host Fan Appreciation Day Saturday

Don’t have plans for Saturday? And love Nevada football? If you do come to Fan Appreciation Day this Saturday, August 15, 2015 with an open practice free to the public starting at 3:30 p.m. at Mackay Stadium. Come bring your family to this special event.

Head Coach Brian Polian welcomes all fans to come and get a first look at the new look Wolf Pack. This may be the public’s last opportunity to see the Wolf Pack before there first game against UC Davis on September 3rd.

Select student-athletes will be available for autographs after the practice and free 2015 football posters will be available as well. The hard hitting action will begin with team drills, while the second half will consist of a controlled scrimmage. This will be the perfect opportunity to judge the ever going quarterback battle that’s taking place. Practice will last approximately two hours.

If you’re interested in attending this event you’ll be asked as a fan to not take any pictures or video of the scrimmage portion of practice and all fans must be in the seating area. Fans are also forewarned about the construction that’s taking place in Mackay Stadium.

Parking will be made available for free in the West Stadium Parking Complex. The main entrance at the stadium’s southwest corner will be made available for fans to enter.

So please show town support. Have fun and enjoy a beautiful Saturday afternoon with the Nevada Wolf Pack.
