The 9th annual Reno Superhero Crawl was held at Harrah’s Plaza last night, June 17th at 8:00pm. Crawl cups went on sale from 7:30 to 10:30pm; though if you participated in the morning’s Arch Rivals Superhero Run, you got your cup for free.

Superheroes, supervillains, video game characters and monsters converged on the starter bar of the night to buy their commemorative cup, pose for photos, and start their journey from bar to bar, with specials and events peppered throughout Reno at over 20 participating establishments until the party ended at 6 am.

The Reno Superhero Crawl originated in 2007 and has since accumulated thousands of participants, partnerships with geek culture fixtures like Wizard World Comic Con, and helped ferment the growing arts scene (comics are included, folks) in Reno.

He also dabbles in martial arts and nude portrait drawing. Volunteer models are welcome. He thinks third person mini bios are fun. He wrote this.
