Washoe County Libraries announced this week that it has secured free access to Lynda.com for library users.
Access is unlimited to those with a Washoe County Library card.
Lynda.com offers a library of instructional videos on software and business skills. Over 3,000 expert courses are offered and may be viewed on iPhone, iPad and Android platforms.
“Popular courses include home and small office software, graphic design and game design, educational technology, photography and videography, programming, small business marketing and much more,” according to a statement issued by the county.
County libraries also offer free ebooks and e-magazines, in addition to meeting spaces and coworking space.
