Beginning Tuesday, August 4, classic cars will fill the streets of Reno as the area gears up for Hot August Nights.
Grand Sierra Resort and Casino is the official registration headquarters and is hosting live entertainment each night and the $10,000 Classic Cherry Show-n-Shine.
“Grand Sierra Resort is proud to be a partner to such a wonderful event like Hot August Nights and we are looking forward to a very special week,” said Tracy Mimno, GSR’s general manager. “This event, like so many others in our community, is part of our community fabric, drawing tens of thousands of visitors to the region each year and it truly provides the perfect platform to not only showcase what our resort has to offer but, really, what Reno has to offer as a destination.”
The GSR Cherry Show-n-Shine begins Tuesday, Aug. 4 and will run through Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015.
On Saturday, four “Best of Show” winners will be judged for the “Grand Overall Best of Show.” The winner will receive $4,000 and a trophy.
