Shortly after 4:30 am on Saturday, March 7, 2015 Reno Police received several calls from citizens in the area of University Ridge Park in North Reno of shots being fired.
Shortly after the reports , two victims of gunshot wounds arrived at a local hospital. One victim was treated and released. The other is still in the hospital.
Early investigation revealed that the victims were involved in an altercation at the park that resulted in several shots being fired. This is also believed to possibly be gang related.
