Shortly after 2:30 am today Reno Police received a call about a possible stabbing at a residence in the 5300 block of Mountcrest Lane.

When officers arrived on scene they located a male who had suffered multiple stab wounds.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries.

Further investigation showed that the victim and his roommate were involved in an argument when the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times.

The roommate was identified as 37-year-old Kenneth Snyder. He was taken into custody by Reno Police and charged with one count of battery with a deadly weapon.
