Officers responded to a report of a firearm discharge on Evans Avenue. Shell cases were discovered, but no injuries were reported.

Two people were involved in an altercation on 7th Street when the suspect stabbed the victim several times. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. The suspect is identified but still outstanding.

There was an armed robbery using a knife on South Wells Avenue. The suspect demanded money from the register; at this time, total loss has not been disclosed. The suspect is identified as: W/M, 5’6”-5’8” tall, 200 lbs., LSW a blue beanie, black hoodie, black pants and black shoes.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting on Wyoming Court. No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.

Teressa Ford was arrested on charges of O&R on South Wells Avenue.

There was a commercial burglary on East 4th Street. The owner found electronic equipment and cash missing. There are no suspects at this time.

Jason Roozen was arrested for CCW and burglary at 7th and Beldon during a routine traffic stop.

A juvenile was arrested on charges of BDW / knife and domestic battery on Andrea Street.

Joseph Morton was arrested on charges of strong arm robbery and O&R on South Virginia Street. Adria Ely was arrested on the same charges, plus CCW.

Douglas Wayne Schultz has been assessed as a Tier III Sex Offender and is known to be residing in the 200 block of Mill Street. He is currently unemployed. He is in compliance with all sex offender laws and is not currently wanted by law enforcement. He is not currently being supervised by the State of Nevada, Department of Public Safety, Division of Parole and Probation.

Jason Eash was arrested on charges of vehicle burglary.

Jose Trujillo was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of stolen property at Sutro and Wedekind.

Dalton Frederick was arrested on charges of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle on East Peckham Lane.

Felix George was arrested during an unrelated routine traffic stop on charges of vehicle burglary on Evans Street.

Sparks police responded to the 1500 block of G Street after receiving a report of a wanted person in the area. Benjamin Scruggs was arrested on multiple charges stemming from a January 15 incident in the same area. Probable cause was developed to arrest Scruggs for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, trafficking in a controlled substance, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a short-barreled shotgun. His bail is set at $55,000.

Officers responded to a report of stolen cash and property on Longley Lane. Total loss has not been disclosed and there are currently no suspects.

Sparks police responded to a report of a home invasion in the 900 block of 20th Street. Officers arrived to find two males with extensive injuries. One of the residents said that someone broke in and beat the two men up. The victims were transported to Renown for treatment. At this time, no suspect information is available.

David Galvan was arrested when officers responded to a report he was disturbing the peace on North Virginia Street. He was also charged with battery on an officer, DOP, and O&R.

Officers responded to a report of stolen cash and property on Double R Blvd. Total loss has not been disclosed and there are currently no suspects.

Daniel Kibbe was arrested on charges of domestic battery on Mira Loma.

Ronda Rockwell was arrested on charges of battery on a protected person on Kirman Avenue. She was creating a disturbance and interfering with the work of medical personnel.
