Michelle Alvarado

Michelle Alvarado was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of burglary tools, possession of a dangerous weapon, and possession of credit cards at 5th and Keystone. Alvarado was arrested during a routine traffic stop.

Martin Anderson and Dezhon Mack were arrested on charges of CCW, Rifle on East 2nd Street when officers responded to a fight where one suspect was armed with a shotgun.

Eugene Evans was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, PCS, and disturbing the peace on Lake Street. The arrest occurred when officers responded to a fight where there were reports of a handgun, which turned out to be an AirSoft handgun.

Bruce Hart

Bruce Hart was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, PCS, and meth on 4th Street. The arrest occurred when officers observed the suspect driving a scooter erratically and was pulled over for a routine traffic stop.

January 6, 2015

Officers observed suspects conducting a hand to hand drug sale and attempted to make contact with the suspects. Unfortunately, they were only able to take on suspect into custody — Angel Ray Farias was arrested on charges of PCS and O&R on East 4th Street.

Robert Edwin House

Reno police arrested Robert Edwin House on three counts of sexual assault in the Grove Street area of South Reno. House has been involved in multiple sex related crimes involving girls less than ten years old.

There was a residential burglary on Mira Loma Drive. The victim arrived at home to find the suspect exiting carrying a bag. The suspect quickly fled to a waiting vehicle. The suspects are described as B/M/A, driving a maroon colored sedan.

There was a residential burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary on East Huffaker Lane. The victim had left her residence when she observed the suspects enter and leave with her property. Travis Kelley, David Winship, and Saul Beltron-Ramos were arrested on the above-mentioned charges.

January 8, 2015

An arrest on battery, trespass, O&R was made on East 4th Street. Employees were attempting to trespass the suspect when a physical altercation occurred. The suspect was combative when officers attempted to arrest him. Kenneth Allen Peters was arrested on the above-mentioned charges.

January 9, 2015

There was a shooting into an occupied vehicle in the 1700 block of Vance Way. Upon arrival, officers learned a man and woman were seated in their idling vehicle when two suspects appeared and began looking in the windows. A suspect drew a firearm, leading the driver to put the vehicle in motion, fearing for their safety. The suspects fired at least one shot at the retreating vehicle. The first suspect is a black adult male in his 20s, 5’9”, 140 pounds, and LSW jeans and a camouflage jacket. The second suspect is a white or Hispanic adult male in his 20s, 5’10”, 170 pounds, and LSW a black jacket and sweatpants. The suspects were last seen running north on Oppio from Vance.

January 10, 2015

There was a suspected carjacking at 1701 Victorian Avenue in Sparks. A black male got into the female’s car, a green Ford Explorer. The victim was getting gas and attempted to stop the suspect, but was pushed away by the suspect, who claimed to have a bomb. Officers located the vehicle at Oddie and El Rancho and found it to be unoccupied. Although police saw the suspect flee into the apartments at 1260 El Rancho, they were unable to make contact. The suspect is described as 5’8”, bald with tattoos on his head, and earrings in both ears and was last seen with sunglasses and a button up shirt.
