Washoe County Sheriff-Elect Chuck Allen will be sworn in as sheriff during a special session of the Washoe County Board of County Commissioners meeting scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2015.
After his swearing-in, Allen will participate in a change-of command ceremony. The ceremony will include the passing of the Sheriff’s Office flag from the old administration to the new.
