Man shot, wounded today in south Reno

Shortly after 1:30 pm today Reno Police received a call of a possible victim of a gunshot wound near Neil Road and Gentry Way. Officers located a 26 year old victim of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the ankle at the 1200 block of Gentry Way.

REMSA responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where the victim is being treated.

The Reno Police Department is still interviewing the victim and witnesses to determine whether this was gang related and who the possible suspect(s) may be.
