care-logo-300x85-4986358-9497928CARE Chest, a Northern Nevada non-profit that provides free medical resources for underserved clients, honored its supporters at the annual Giving Circle Luncheon this month at Reno’s Gas Lamp restaurant.

CARE Chest’s many financial supporters, including individual and foundation donors, have been the engine behind 25 years of growth and more than 120,000 local clients served.

Reno photographer Jeff Ross and video production professional Sam Breen and Tim Hosfeldt received honors for lending their “Creative Genius Telling the CARE Chest Story.” During the program photos and videos produced during 2014 were displayed for the approximately 50 attendees.

“As CARE Chest prepares to celebrate 25 years and more than 120,000 Northern Nevada clients served, we want to take a day to recognize the generous people and organizations that make it possible,” said Patti Meals, CARE Chest executive director.

“It takes a community of dedicated and generous supporters to survive and thrive in the non-profit world, and we are so thankful for Northern Nevada’s giving spirit,” Meals added.
