Rich Staley, owner of Great Basin Bicycles, is excited to host this celebration for such a talented couple.
He said: “Trevor and Sierra’s story is an amazing example of will power, endless energy and the ability to dig deep when life isn’t working out as planned. Their story will keep you off your bike and reading through the night.”
ABOUT THE BOOK:
It’s the summer of 2014 and University of Nevada students Trevor DeRuise and Sierra Davies decide to chase the Pro Cross-Country Tour, the premier professional mountain bike series in North America all while living, training and running successful businesses out of Ol’ Silver, a 2004 Ford passenger van with 58,000 miles on its odometer.
Instead of hanging out and enjoying the sunny days between spring and fall semesters, the couple takes a 90-day journey across the United States and travels over 3,000 miles to redefine the traditional approach of white picket fences and working their way up the corporate ladder. Their goal is to define a future that consists of a free, bold, and passionate life dedicated to something bigger than oneself.
