SWAG | Blue Moon assists local non-profits in achieving goals

1897007_501794789941515_717654924_n-300x256-8097854-8112908SWAG | Blue Moon, a northern Nevada owned and operated business specializing in premier printing, web development and the supply of custom promotional items, has been a long supporter of the area’s non-profit organizations.

Thus far in 2014, SWAG | Blue Moon has donated more than $48,000 in services and/or goods including design, printing and promotional products to organizations including Boy’s and Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows, Step2, Solace Tree, Safe Kids Washoe County, American Heart Association, Renown’s Children Hospital and the SPCA.

As part of its commitment to the community, SWAG | Blue Moon runs its Blue Moon Dreams program that grants services and goods to select local non-profit organizations in Nevada to help raise funds, public awareness and community support.

All non-profits in Nevada are encouraged to apply for services and goods by completing the application at bluemoondreams.com.

Applicants do not need to be established SWAG | Blue Moon customers. A panel of representatives from SWAG | Blue Moon reviews all applications and non-profits are notified of the result within 30 days of applying.

Miriam Hodgman is originally from San Francisco. She previously was the communications coordinator for the largest hunger-relief organization in Sonoma County, California. She has a bachelor’s degree in American history, with a minor in American Indian studies, from San Francisco State University, and has a master’s degree in public administration from Sonoma State University. She enjoys training a variety of martial arts.
