The Sands Reno / Reno Comic-Con comes to Reno Sept.14, 2014, bringing a day of comic books art, anime, sci-fi, cosplay and sci-fi to The Sands.
The family friendly event will feature Dan Brereton (creator of “The Nocturnals”, artist for “Batman, “Spider-man,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Iron Fist” and “Justice League) and Scott Shaw (creator of DC’s “Captain Carrot,” “The Simpsons,” first artist for “Sonic The Hedgehog” and animator for Hanna-Barbera and Filmation).
Also meet Charlotte Stewart, known for her role as “Miss Beadle” in the award winning series “Little House On The Prairie.” She also has starred in “Eraser Head,” and “Twin Peaks” with filmmaker David Lynch.
The event features panels, workshops, a costume contest, exhibitors and more.
