Art Walk Reno is expanding its footprint.

The Art BLAST exhibit that is on display at the McKinley Arts & Culture Center, will be part of the Art Walk on Thursday, Sept. 4. Art Indeed! Sierra Memorial Art Space, a new gallery featuring abstract art at 142 Bell St., is also part of the walk through the Reno Arts District.

Stroll along the Truckee and throughout the downtown Arts District, where you can view the works of 17 local and regional artists.

The walk officially begins at 5 p.m. at Liberty Fine Art Gallery, 100 West Liberty Street. There, you can purchase a ticket, for $10, which includes a glass, raffle ticket and program for the evening. Or purchase a limited-edition hand-painted glass by this month’s featured artist, Michelle Nelsen, for $15.

The event ends with a raffle drawing at ArtSpace gallery in West Street Market. Prizes include a $200.00 voucher good towards any piece of art shown on the walk.

A portion of this month’s proceeds will benefit Bruka Theater of the Sierra, a non-profit performance art space located in downtown Reno..
