On August 29, 2014 at about 1:25 a.m., Officers with the Reno Police Department responded to the 500 block of S. Virginia Street on a report of a fight with one subject injured. Officers located a 48 year old male on the ground suffering from a stab wound to his torso. First aid was provided by the Officers as well as paramedics. The male was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Witnesses were able to provide a description of the outstanding male suspect who fled the scene on a BMX bicycle and the investigation in on-going at this time.
Suspect: Black Male mid 20’s to early 30’s, 5-8 to 5-11, 150 to 180 lbs, braided black hair
Decedent: Richard LeBarron 48 year old Reno resident
