M.1 – Public Hearing – West Meadows Estates

In a 6-to-1 vote, Council approved a request to change the Master Plan land-use designation of five parcels (totaling 199 acres) east of the intersection of Summerset Drive and U.S. Highway 40 to “Special Planning Area.” Council overturned the Planning Commission’s recommendation. The West Meadows Estates Planned Unit Development (PUD), which establishes zoning, will be heard at a later date.

H.1 – Fee Schedule
Council unanimously approved to amend certain sections of the Fiscal Year 14/15 Fee Schedule, including lowering building permit fees by 35 percent due to staff efficiency, increased development activity, and to support economic development in Reno. Download the detailed Fee Schedule here.
