The Reno Jazz Orchestra will present Bob McChesney and Calabria Foti for an evening of straight-ahead jazz on August 30 at the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater in Reno. This special night of music and song starts at 7 p.m.
Bob McChesney is well known in the music industry as a master of the trombone and Calabria Foti is a much-loved vocalist, musician and entertainer. The duo will join the Reno Jazz Orchestra for a tribute to the Great American Songbook.

Miriam Hodgman is originally from San Francisco. She previously was the communications coordinator for the largest hunger-relief organization in Sonoma County, California. She has a bachelor’s degree in American history, with a minor in American Indian studies, from San Francisco State University, and has a master’s degree in public administration from Sonoma State University. She enjoys training a variety of martial arts.
