Great American Songbook tribute by Reno Jazz Orchestra: special guests Bob McChesney and Calabria Foti

64520_161724867311327_1005410180_n-300x243-5750725-3922549The Reno Jazz Orchestra will present Bob McChesney and Calabria Foti for an evening of straight-ahead jazz on August 30 at the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater in Reno. This special night of music and song starts at 7 p.m.

Bob McChesney is well known in the music industry as a master of the trombone and Calabria Foti is a much-loved vocalist, musician and entertainer. The duo will join the Reno Jazz Orchestra for a tribute to the Great American Songbook.

Ticket options include chair or grass seating for $10 – $30 and are available online here.

Food concessions will be provided by Hacienda Restaurant and Bar. The evening’s sponsors include the Nevada Arts Council, E.L. Cord Foundation, ArtWorks, Steinway Piano Gallery, the Robert Z. Hawkins Foundation and the Reno Jazz Orchestra Band of 100.
