The Regional Transportation Commission has made getting around the region easy and affordable for students at Truckee Meadows Community College and the University of Nevada, Reno.

For registered UNR students, the Wolf Pass is available through the Parking and Transportation Services Department. TMCC registered students may purchase a TMCC bus pass through the Cashier’s Office, which is formerly the Controller’s Office, on the third floor of the Red Mountain Building on the Dandini campus.

The TMCC bus pass or Wolf Pass for fall 2014 is valid from July-December and costs $115. The pass is also being offered for spring 2015 for $115, valid from January-June. Wolf Pass and TMCC bus pass users may take unlimited trips during the time the pass is valid on all local RTC RIDE transit services. Upgraded passes cost $150 and include trips on RTC INTERCITY, which is the commuter transit service linking Reno and Carson City.

The passes are designed as a convenient alternative to driving a personal vehicle – they also spare students from looking for parking. For many, the pass may be more affordable than paying to gas up a personal vehicle and commuting to campus.
