Businesses welcome all to discover Dickerson Road

Discover Dickinson Road on July 19 from 12-10 pm, artists and businesses are welcoming the public to explore what the road has to offer. Food trucks, music, art projects, performance art and yoga will be presented at the open house.

Take Second Street west beyond Keystone Avenue and it turns into Dickerson Road. And if you take Dickerson Road to the end, you’ll end up at the Oxbow Nature Study, an urban oasis. Look for the yellow and red balloons.

Noon to 2 p.m.        –    Family sessions at The Wedge Ceramics Studio

Noon to 4 p.m.        —    Family stations at Reno Art Works

Noon to 5 p.m.        —    Free beer and root beer at Homebrewer

Noon to 5 p.m.        —    Art display by “That Lucido Kid” and music at Vinnie and Anthony’s Auto Repair

1 p.m. to 4 p.m.       —   Spoken word and folk music at Oxbow Cafe & Bistro

2 p.m. to 3 p.m.       —   Free Basic Auto Maintenance Course at Vinnie and Anthony’s Auto Repair

5 p.m. to 6 p.m.       —   Buzz Yoga, taught by Vinnie Lucido at Oxbow Nature Center

5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  —   DJ Luciano at Vinnie and Anthony’s Auto Repair

5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  —   Performance at The Potentialist Workshop

6 p.m. to 8 p.m.       —   Live music at Sierra Water Gardens

6 p.m. to 8 p.m.        —  Raku firing at The Wedge Ceramics Studio

8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.   –   Empire Comedy at Potentialist Workshop
