  • June 14 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • July 19 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Both summer clinics will accept all patients, adults and children, for all services. There will not be a clinic in August due to student schedules.

Clinics are held at the School of Medicine’s Family Medicine Center, located on the University of Nevada, Reno campus just north of Mackay Stadium off of North Virginia Street. Take RTC bus route 7 to North Virginia Street or the free Sierra Spirit bus.

Student Outreach Clinics are a free service providing much needed care for Washoe County’s medically uninsured population. Clinics offer physicals for work or school, EKGs, blood pressure monitoring, women’s services including Pap smears, pregnancy testing, gynecological exams and mammogram referrals; and selected lab services at discounted fees.

Under the direct supervision of licensed faculty and community physicians, medical students from the University of Nevada School of Medicine offer monthly Student Outreach Clinics providing free care to the medically uninsured. No appointment is necessary for clinic patients who are seen on a first come, first served basis. Early arrival is recommended. Spanish translators are available as needed.
