The new William N. Pennington Boys and Girls Club facility opened its doors today. The grand opening ceremony was hosted by city officials, foundation partners and members from the board of directors. The new 55,000-square foot facility will serve up to 4,000 youth annually.

Christopher Vega, born in Madison, Tenn., is married, father of three boys and a late bloomer to education. He has 15 years of experience working with disadvantaged youth and is completing two degrees in Journalism and Art.
